This is how the Kensington Diet works

With the Kensington diet, a so-called rotation principle is added to the food combining. It mandates eating certain foods and food groups only once every five days. These foods include those that are typically very common on the menu, such as grains containing gluten such as wheat, dairy products, nuts, fish and meat.

Stephen Twigg, the inventor of the diet, advises eating a certain type of fish, meat, nuts, pasta, potatoes or grains containing gluten (wheat, rye, oats, barley) only once every five days. These rules are supplemented by so-called affirmations, i.e. messages to the subconscious that are memorized through constant repetition.

There should be at least four hours between the individual meals so that the food groups are not mixed up.
